Fostering

It has been said that Garrett County has some of the nicest rescued animals in the region. The same can be said of all the animal rescue volunteers. Many of them have made the difference between an animal that has a low adoption probability to an animal that is now in a permanent loving home. HART intends to pursue a solid fostering program for animals that require extra TLC to make it back from the darkness of cruelty or the loneliness of abandonment. At present, animal fostering is limited to a couple of volunteers that work closely with the rescue coordinator.
