Buddy was taken to the Garrett County shelter by a nice man who had, for weeks, tempted him with food to win Buddy's trust.
He was found in an abandoned home, matted and scared. HART's rescue coordinator was making her rounds at the shelter at the same time and brought Buddy immediately to HART for an examination and much-needed grooming. Buddy's hair was so long and matted, that he could barely lift his legs.
The hair had to be first cut away from his legs before the shaving could begin. His poor body was covered with flea dust. But underneath this lost soul was a beautiful dog who just wanted to be loved. He went home that night with his foster mom, who never let him go.
Buddy's now in his forever home.
