HART's Volunteer Appreciation Dinner A Success

The food was outstanding, the company no less so, and the Blakeslee Community Center was full of the voices of friends who have in common the gift of compassion... for those who have no voice but mattered so greatly to everyone at the dinner.

Hosted by Treasurer Kitty Lauer and her husband who prepared the main entree and some desserts, the food and drink table look exactly like what it was: a night of thanksgiving.

After President Mike Pellet welcomed the guests, the outstanding volunteers of the year were recognized by a few words and a small token of HART's gratitude. The categories were:

• Outstanding fundraising volunteer (Over 500 hours) - Eric Robison, Chairperson, Poker Tournaments
• Outstanding volunteer - Ken Bush, HART Vice President and Construction Manager
