One Penny Can Make A Change.

Penny is a sweet 4-year-old pit bull mix that came to HART in pretty rough shape. Underweight and scared, this little lady was very unsure of herself and others as she adjusted to life at HART. She was unsure of people, so our staff worked hard to show this wonderful girl that people could be a-ok. Liking all forms of treats, it did not take her long to begin to warm up, though she still liked to talk a lot when she first met a new person. We here at HART worked day and night to find the perfect family that would love Penny as she learned that she was safe. Finding a wonderful couple who was looking to expand, we were so excited to invite them here and see them fall in love with what we hoped would be their furever pup. Boy, we were right, these three took to each other and we were so excited to see such a good girl get a second chance. Thank you to all the adopters who take the chance on dogs like Penny, we are so grateful to see her in such a wonderful home.
