associate veterinarian
We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian interested in practicing at a busy, three-veterinarian, full-service animal hospital and adoption center. The candidate will perform the traditional duties of a veterinarian and also support the HART Adoption Wing by providing health evaluations, medical care, vaccinations, and spay/neuters for adoptable animals. New graduates welcome. HART provides customer service and administrative support. Experience with Cornerstone software is a plus.

registered Veterinary Technician
The Level 2 Veterinary Technician has multiple responsibilities within the Bredel Clinic. The technician is responsible for scheduled Veterinary Technician appointments in addition to working closely with the veterinarians during wellness exams, surgery preparation, surgery and post-operative care. Assists in maintaining all clinic protocols for caring for sick and well animals, animal handling, safety, and cleaning procedures, and interacts with other clinic staff and volunteers. Veterinary Technicians must be registered in Maryland.

ANimal Care Attendant: Adoption Wing - Full or Part-time
The job of the animal care attendant entails several important aspects of our Adoption Wing, animal care and treatment, customer service, and cleanliness. This position is supervised directly by the Adoption Wing Supervisor. The job requires weekend and holiday hours. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Customer Service Representative - Full time
The primary duty of the Customer Service Rep and Scheduler is to answer the phone, direct the calls to the appropriate people, and schedule appointments for the Bredel Veterinary Care Center and the Bed ‘n Bark Inn. This position requires excellent phone manners and the ability to coordinate with various staff members, including managers and veterinarians. In addition, the position involves upselling services, taking reservations, and answering questions about events and services. This is a very fast-paced job. All appointments are scheduled in Cornerstone, which is the organization’s management software.

Kennel Assistant: Bed ‘n BArk Inn Pet Hotel - Full time
The job of the kennel assistant entails several important aspects of our pet hotel (the Bed ‘n Bark Inn), animal care and treatment, customer service, and pet hotel cleanliness. This position is supervised directly by the Pet Hotel Manager and the Kennel Supervisor. Weekend and holiday hours are required and must be able to lift 50 lbs.
