FULL OR PART-TIME ANIMAL CARE ATTENDANT
The job of the animal care attendant entails several important aspects of our Adoption Wing, animal care and treatment, customer service, and cleanliness. This position is supervised directly by the Adoption Wing Manager, the Behaviorist, and the Adoption Wing Supervisor. The job requires weekend and holidays. Hours vary.
FULL-TIME SECURITY GUARD
The HART Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the overall security of the HART Center at night and
for conducting inspections of all the areas to ensure the safety of any animal and staff member in the
facility. To monitor the perimeter of the Center and the different internal and external areas, the
Security Officer will receive a live feed from the security cameras installed throughout the building. The
HART Center is locked at night and if any intrusion or danger is detected, it will be the responsibility of
the Security Officer to contact the appropriate law enforcement and fire department personnel. In case
of an emergency, the Security Officer on duty will have the responsibility of implementing emergency
evacuation procedures for the facility until the first responders arrive. In addition, the Security Officer
will be responsible for some general cleaning as assigned. Holidays and weekends are required.
10 hour shifts/4 days per week rotating.
