HART Earns Two Important Badges in 2020

This has been a challenging year – for everyone. In truth, these are very difficult times for all, especially those of us who depend on the generosity of others.

HART for Animals is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to save the lives of homeless animals. Since 2003, when HART was founded, we have saved 11,500 cats and dogs, and have provided no-cost and low-cost spay/neuter surgeries to 10,000 pets. We take our mission very seriously.

That’s why we are very happy to share with you two distinctions that were awarded to HART in 2020: the Great Nonprofit Badge, which is given to the Top-Rated Nonprofits, based on endorsements from clients, volunteers and the community.

We have also earned the GuideStar Platinum Participation Level, which demonstrates our commitment to nonprofit transparency. GuideStar connects donors and grantmakers to nonprofit organizations. It also encourages charitable giving by enabling donors to make better decisions through the reliability of the information they provide.
