HART Welcomes Back Level II Volunteers!!
Hello again Level II HART Volunteers!
We have some GREAT news! We are reopening our volunteer program for Level II volunteers! We are super excited to have seen a significant drop in local COVID cases and are very much looking forward to being able to invite you all back to HART!
This will be a soft rollout of sorts, we’ll be limiting volunteer positions available initially, with the hope that we will be able to continue to expand availability while keeping you, the HART staff, and the animals, safe.
BEFORE YOU RETURN
It’s been a while since we’ve had the pleasure of having volunteers in and around the HART facility, so we have prepared a mandatory reorientation that we are asking you to complete before returning. This is available to watch online and will be followed by a request that you affirm that you have watched it in its entirety. Returning Level II volunteers can contact Edward Faley at edward@hartforanimals.org and request access to the refresher. You will also be sent our current volunteer COVID-19 protocols.
Once we’ve received notice that you’ve watched the refresher, WELCOME BACK! You’ll be able to see the available volunteer positions online and sign up as you were before.
LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
Our goal is to increase the number of daily volunteer slots as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience with us as we work towards getting our volunteer program running at full capacity again while keeping the safety of our animals, volunteers, and employees as our #1 priority.
We are also working towards welcoming new volunteers. We will make that announcement as soon as possible. We are excited to soon be seeing some brand new faces around, even if it is just from the nose-up. :)
